Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 30 July 2026

At The Twentieth, we are committed to respecting your privacy and safeguarding the data of all visitors to https://www.thetwentieth.com.

Who We Are

The Twentieth is a cultural advisory. Our website address is https://www.thetwentieth.com and you can reach us at hello@thetwentieth.com.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics platform that we host ourselves. This means your data stays on our own infrastructure and is never sold, shared or passed to advertising networks.

Umami does not use cookies and does not track individuals across websites. It does not store any personal identifier on your device. It collects only aggregated, anonymous information such as the pages viewed, the approximate country of the visit, the type of device and browser, how far down a page visitors read, and which buttons or links are used. IP addresses are used momentarily to derive an approximate location and are not stored.

We use this to understand which parts of the site are useful and to improve them. It cannot be used to identify you.

You can read more about Umami’s approach to privacy at https://umami.is/privacy.

When You Contact Us

If you send us a message through the contact form on this website, we collect the email address you provide, the message you write, and the page you were viewing when you wrote it. We use this only to respond to you and to understand which parts of the site prompt enquiries.

Form submissions are handled by Formlander, a form service we host ourselves, so this information is not passed to a third-party marketing platform.

If you book a call with us, that scheduling is handled by Cal.com, which will collect the details you enter such as your name, email address and chosen time in order to arrange the meeting. Cal.com processes that information as described in its own privacy policy at https://cal.com/privacy.

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and to maintain a record of our professional relationship. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to any mailing list without your consent.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising or profiling, and there is therefore no cookie banner on this site.

Some embedded third-party services may set their own cookies or similar technologies when you interact with them. The video player on our homepage is provided by Mux, and the booking tool is provided by Cal.com. These load only when you choose to use them.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel processes standard technical information such as IP addresses in server logs in order to deliver the site securely and reliably.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Because our analytics are anonymous, we cannot link that data to you individually. Where we hold correspondence from you, we can act on these requests.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@thetwentieth.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
